Some kind of parition management software would be great, I ran into a problem with my 400GB drive exceeding the limits of 16KB clusters. A simple partition divider/resizer software could have solved my problem without having to back everything up. It took about 8 hours to back everything up so I could repartition.

While I also think that some sort of resizing tool would be great, but that might be a bit much for a bios. I'm curious about your comment of ftp being slow. My ftp'ing to my xbox flies, a 54MB file takes maybe 5 seconds. Transfering GR2 took less than 5 minutes. The XBOX has a 100mb lan card in it. Check and see if your hub or network card that your connecting it to is also 100mb capable. Just trying to help

I couldn't agree more, I also made a post about being able to set partition size on setup so that when doing new installs you could fix the problem before it became on. I do remember reading somewhere that there was a partition resizing tool that has been released already, I think it was called XBpartitioner. That may be the answer to both of our questions. I will have to look into that app some more. Either way, it would be nice to see these features integrated in the BIOS for a much more streamlined approach.

Pytec XBPartitioner is your answer but if you want custom partition sizes you'll have to wait for the next BIOS release as custom partition tables are not read correctly at the moment.

Do you mean between the PC and the xbox or xbox to xbox.

Xbox to xbox with avalaunch is super fast! Gotta love boost mode! :)
