Password problem

I've done a solderless install (X3+Xapter) on a v1.0 Xbox

I flashed the bios with X3 3029 and it would boot up with no video, just audio. So I flashed back to X3 1959, but then I get stuck on the password page (I've never set a password, so I can only assume I got stuck with a used modchip).

So as per suggestions, I flashed back to X2 4937, which works. Now all I have to do is create a bootable disk with the eeprom eraser app on it. But I'm still not sure how to make a bootable disk, and the other tricky thing is that I'm using a Mac and can't run Nero or Qwix...

Any suggestions?

Well, I am able to use flashbios via http... but I assume that I would need some sort of ftp server installed on the Xbox, right? And that's kind of why I thought I was installing X3 3029. Is there another way to ftp?
