Patching

Hi! I am running Avalaunch-X3ce- V1 Box-X3-3029 Bios and I am trying to Figure out how exactly to back up my games via Disk-to-disk (Hard drive not upgraded) with a patch so it doesn't frezze up on load. O yeah tring to back up Defjffny-Links Fight night R2-Madden05. If anyone could help or point in right direc would be Thanks

well if your using the stock xbox hard drive odds are u can still put 1 game on the hard drive then use QUIX to take the data from the xbox and put it into a ISO file thats stored on the pc, then u burn the iso with nero and all should be good

i recommend u load up a app called "dvd2xbox" in order to get the game data from the original dvd disk into the xbox.

just check your disk space on dvd2xbox first... cause on the main menu of dvd2xbox u can see how much disk space the game will need.

once your done burning to dvd disk just ftp into the xbox and delete the game from the hard drive... and thats that

p.s. put the games under E:\GAMES\ ... if your using the stock xbox hard drive.

you can just ftp to your xbox and pull the file across the network directly from your dvdrom in the box, and then use qwix to make the iso and burn with nero if you dont want to save to your xbox first, either way, you still have to pull a good 2 gb or so across your network, my way is just faster and works just fine.
