I have a 1.6 xbox that i modded for my friend with the x2.6CE. it frags when it tries to boot off of the chip but is fine when chip is disabled.

I checked the voltage on all of the pins and the only pin that isnt getting voltage is pin #9 but does get voltage on pin #15.

I used the PBC rebuild to do it. This also is the same setup that i have on my own xbox with the 2.6ce, pbc rebuild on 1.6. on my xbox that does work with the chip enabled, it gets no voltage at pin 9 also but there is volatage on 15. I see that it looks like they are both connected so shouldnt they both be gettin 3.3v?

I am wondering if this could be a broken switch that needs to be replaced? im checking his xbox out tomorrow with my switch but I am wondering why there isnt any voltage comming off pin 9? im trying to diagnose the problem as best as i can. thanks in advance

Correction. THere is no voltage going to Pin 15 OR 9 but the mod chip works fine on my xbox. how is that? where else does it get the power on the 1.6b boards?

Are you measuring the voltages with the chip removed? I know you've been posting this on Xbox-Scene and been trying to help you with it. The chip operates from the 5v connection. The X3 needs both 3.3 and 5v connected. I'd advise you check the voltages with nothing connected to the LPC...

I know the connection only needs the 5v connection, im just tryign to figure out that there should be a 3.3 on 9 and 15. and want to fix taht also on mine since i wnat to upgrade to the x3 soon on mine
