Ok so I have the 9504 Winbond Drive - When i got it it had the latest dash update so Im under the assumption it has the 0272 FW as of now

I do not have a copy of the Original FW or Drive Key for that matter as I obtained it this way.

My question is if i buy this replacement PCB board that has the unlock on it and were to basically follow this tutorial:
http://www.team-xecuter.com/forums/showthread.php?t=67582

for the part of dumping the key and FW with JF will I be able to use that to flash the new board with? Or will I even be able to get the key off the drive in its current state?

If so is the Idea to flash it with what I took from the current drive then replace it with LTPlus-0272-v1.92.bin?

From everything Im reading and from the phat drives I flashed in the past this seems to be what needs to happen but I want to be sure, Lastly the Sata driver set on my PC works just fine with all the 360 drives Ive connected to it and Ive heard its just as easy using the phat 360 as a power source for the slim drive can I avoid the 360pro and Ck3 as I have both of these things?

(P.s Im thinking this is one of the only ways to get the iXtreme Firmware on my drive as of to date am i correct or is there another method as of to date?)

Thanks again

you can pull the key from any lite-on slim drive even if its locked, the write is locked not the key and yes follow the guide and you can't go wrong.

Yes follow that guide and you will be fine. Basically plug your drive up, hit slim keu, press no when asked to unlock and it will then get your key for you. Then use that key with LT+2.0 and flash the replacement.

Good luck.

don´t forget you need the basic tools for work with jf. ck3 and a chipset 6421 or usb360pro (this one is the best in my opinion)
