LITEON DG-16D4S - SLIM pcb replacement question

ok quys, i have a DG16D4S 0225 and i heard about this replacement of pcb to unlock it but found it a little expensive, but then i found this new sputnik 360 thing and sputnik probe or something and they said it can unlock the slim too so my question is what is
1)is this information correct
2) what is the different between them and why is the difference in the price so big?

i will either buy a (sputnik and probe) or (PCB replacement)

p.s) i have the ck3 probe, is it the same as the sputnik probe thingy

yes you can unlock slim 0225 pcb wiht a sputnik switch are probe but only if your pcb is a mxic chipset,you need a tx unlocked pcb if your 0225 pcb is a winbond chipset,and no the probe 3 will not work on unlocking the pcb you need the sputnik probe but only if your pcb has a mxic chipset

Jam a huge fan of the txpcb no matter which chipset you have because if your drive goes out you can put it into a new slim lite on no matter the chipset.
