Hi. Great forum! Im really learning alot here!
I'd like to ask a question regarding my bios, And getting my PCI card to detect my Sam m28 drive. Please, Overlook my "noobness", But should i be configuring something in the bios for this task? I've disabled all SATA devices physically, Now im wondering if theres something else I need to do. My PCI card is a Hyperion Pro.
Thanks!

OlieKon,

The BIOS of a PC only contains the settings for the motherboard. It will not give you any options for setting up of any PCI cards plugged in.

Once the card has been correctly plugged into a spare PCI slot on the motherboard you need to install the drivers, remembering not to select RAID options and thats it.

Correct. In the BIOS setup window you need to turn off the RAID (if applicable) and set your boot sequence.

You'll want the bootup device that you are going to use (that you'll setup with the iPrep S/W on it) to boot up first (USB stick, floppy or DVD rom), BEFORE anything else so it will then automatically go to DOS where you can flash the SATA cable connected XBOX360 DVD drive with the latest cracked firmware.

You can always go back into the BIOS when you are finished and set it back to the way it was before you started.
