Well being me I plugged in the stupid ihas 124b, like usual to burn a backup I made, I dont know but I think I plugged it wrong and now its Dead, Media not present.
Is there a warranty on this thing?
Is this a good replacement?Item number: 160811495601

Any Drive under Commodore4eva's Rebranded Drives List should work. Check my crossflashing tutorial if you couldn't get the list lol.

Edit:
And yes a ihas-122 B series would do fine.

if your using a ext molex psu it is most probably this that is the fault and your ihas is most probably fine.
some on ebay come with 2.5amps rating.and though they work at first this soon develops faults.
leaving the power cable in the psu (not necessarily the ihas) even when not burning discs will prolong the life and stop the electrical crackling these psu's can sometimes get from unplugging/plugging (think it's because there i no earth on these devices).
