Hi all. Is it safe to use the pelican airflow cooler after performing the x clamp fix. I read around that the nyko intercooler is killing the 360s cause it melts. But what about the pelican airflow. I know that it doesnt take the power straight from the power supply, but can it kill the console by another way?

I've had the NYKO intercooler since christmas and havent had a problem. I like the pelican because of the vga output but if you were to get this then you'd have to get new components to run from the xbox to the tv. To me I'd say this is more likely to short out the xbox because of the way it plugs into 1 usb port to make 4 and then all the different ways to get the video output. I liked it at first only because i wanted to play on my Computer screen but now idk.

Yea, it adds some video outputs, along with the 4 usb, and few extras. It does come with component video cables and rca audio cables. I just want to be sure whether to use it or not, cause I already had to do the clamp fix and all and i dont want to get another console.

Go with the Nyko Intercooler Ex
It is the fixed module and has had No problems whatsoever since it came out. It cools down your system perfectly I would highly recommend buying the Nyko Intercooler Ex.

The pelican airflow Does Not cool off your 360 whatsoever it only heats it up even more due to its "add ons", I do not recommend the pelican airflow at all.
