the most screwed up thing is that i took it all off and redid just the demon and nothing wont boot { NOTHING } SO the demon is the only thing on the board and it wont do nothing theres power but still refuses to even boot with just the demon installed on the motherboard , what is going on ???
the pics i have on photobucket show that the solder points are good conections but for some reason
NOTHING
is it a bad demon board and will xconsoles even take it back if it is bad ??

You probably damaged the R4B24 pad, trace or resistor when installing the CoolRunner - it's a common issue.

We need to see images to know for sure.

It might also be an idea to measure the resistor there, it should read 33/34 Ohms.

ok maybe i am not making my self very clear
i only have the demon board soldered onto the mother board no wires yet and only the 13 points that meet the board from the demon nand board are soldered on so what and where is the resister you are talking about ? is it on the demon or on the mother board ? the demon still pulls up on jrunner when i switch it to pc and use the micro usb at the end of the demon nand board but if i install all of the wires and boards then nothing , what is going on ? bad demon ?

---------- Post added at 23:15 ---------- Previous post was at 23:14 ----------

wont even pull up on jrunner when fully installed on the board with the coolrunner , but cool runner will turn on so i know it is getting power

---------- Post added at 23:19 ---------- Previous post was at 23:17 ----------

I believe you void your warranty once its installed hence why they want you to test it out before installing.

with the demon removed did you put it in pc mode and try it using the micro usb ? obviously if it works its not the demon.

Hi I had the same problem with my slim
I had an improper connection at a point of the NAND
and went no more to start the xbox
if I were you, I will short circuit the measuring points with each other,
and the measuring points of the bottom mobo, towards the top or the mobo

Have you tried plugging the ribbon cable yet to the miniusb module?
I made a similar mistake. When powered on the demon defaults to the demons nand, which as you just installed, is empty. Which wont allow it to boot up.
Plug in the ribbon cable, plug in the psu for the 360, the bright blue led's should pop up on the module. Hit the toggle button to onboard so the LED's are off, then try to boot.
Sorry, saw the pics, ribbon is in.
Just confirm the LEDs are off and that it is loading the onboard.
Also is JRunner reading it from the mini usb? Can you get a dump from the onboard?

Did you read the card which came with the DemoN?

You know, the one which says "STOP - Please read first!"

The best advice was given to you before you even started and you chose to ignore it. There's little to no hope for you.

What exaclty have you done?
The full install start to finish inc steps.
Also what continuity checks have you done?
Looking at the board it looks very messy, what points did you mess up? eg 5v-RED.

You do know the demon will not boot without writing the original nand dump to it, as its empty initially.
You install it, switch to xbox nand, dump, write dump to demon, create ecc from dump, write ecc to demon.

Then there is bad block management todo if there is any.
