RGH Phat Jasper 16MB boot 1 in 4-5 times

Hi all,
I RGH my console using coolrunner and QSB for phat and this is what's happening:
My console sometimes boot after 3 sec and sometimes doesn't boot at all ( the red light is on and the green is blinking like it should but no boot )
I will say that it is booting correctly once every 4 -5 times that I'm shutting down and power the Xbox on,
I tried adding the cap and still the same, any suggestions ?​

Can you post pics of your wiring, especially on the underside.

Ensure that all wires as away from all possible interference sources

The CPU rst is pretty close to the coils u could also try separating the wires

trial and error when routing the wires mate, i was in the same position as you and got my jasper booting VERY consistently, and that goes for all my other console using this method.

remove the hot glue and start again with the wires hanging freely, smooth out the kinks in the wires too. ok get it to a point where it boots consistently then work on one wire at a time starting from each point you soldered to and working your way up to where the wires go through the board (use electrical tape for this)

tape down the wire near the point you soldered to, check to see if it boots, if so move up the wire and repeat the process, if not start again. when your finished and its still booting move on to the next wire, you should get the idea by now.

its time consuming but it works.

don't forget to stay away from the coils, you may get interference from that. ubers pic from another thread.
