ANSWERED phat key failed

hey guys this prob was already posted but im reflashing my drive with everything new jf usbpro,ck3. ive flashed this drive once before so my ? is do i need the original key? or do i need to skip this step of trying to extract it. i dont have the original key. kind of lost here. please help

You need to extract dummy.bin from the drive if you don't already have it.

Follow this guide, you will need a Probe 3 or a PMT.

nope, you need probe 3, or a probe converted to probe 3 with either conversion cable or by adding a switch to the 3.3v line ...here PMT Hack - No Cap required, Just a CK3 and a switch

Get a PMT conversion cable, that will allow you to use your Probe along with PhatKey.

Most (if not all) Xecuter re-sellers should stock them .

Did you extract the firmware .bins into the JungleFlasher>Firmware directory?

The file you want is called LTplus-025-v3.0.bin.

Before you flash your drive, which dashboard is the console currently running?

man thats a good question. havent played this in about 5 months turned it on yesterday had to download something from live. whole start up screen was new. am i ok

I naturally assumed you had a Lite-On DG-16D2S seeing as though you mentioned a Probe?

ltplus 0225_v.3.0 is for slim liteons, you wouldn't have needed a probe for them..
if its a phat liteon you would be needing LTplus-025-v3.0.bin as Blakey said
don't mix em up, they do look similar ...one is for phats while the other is for slims
