phat rgh on 14699 fw will not take avatar update.

I have been trying for the past 2 days you name it ive tried it.

Im on the 14699 ggbuild.

It wont recognise the update at all. ive named it $systemupdate, $$sytemupdate, $$ystemupdate, $SystemUpdate.

NOTHING WILL WORK

I even plugged the hdd into another console and got the update but my rgh wont recognise it.

even flashed back to a stock image and it wont take the update.

what is your dashlaunch setting for noupdater in 'launch.ini'
which version of dashlaunch do you have installed

this is info from latest version 2.30

You mean your on stock dash, on a rgh xebuild image right ? He is asking you what your dashlauch lauch.ini settings are. Maybe try updating xebuild to latest version, brings dash to 14717, then try 14717 usb update

Im not using dash launch. i just flashed my 14699 dev image to the console i just need this avatar update

Ok, so no Dashlaunch installed? Then just add the update to a mem stick, don't rename it and put it in your Xbox.

Still wont work i have litterally done everything it just wont update.

im on 14699 using the 14699 official update does that sound right/

Yeah man, that sounds right. Are you sure Dashlaunch isn't installed? Maybe try creating a new image with Dashlaunch patches and flash it with Rawflash, might work, nothing to lose.

Just did that too still refuses to notice a update

Have you tried using the disc update method. Put the disc in if it doesn't boot when you hit play disc go to xexmenu and run default.xex
