Are you speaking of the wires that came with the coolrunner? If thats the case you can use any set of wires just cut them yourself. The ones that come with the coolrunner is just a convenience thing thats all.

Out of interest does anyone know what gage wire it is ?

Wires are simply conductors any wire will do for this case, just make sure the 3.3 volt coolrunner wire is a bit bigger gauge to allow for the amperage. I had to use a jumper wire for my f**k up but you live and you learn, but the end result is that it works so that's all that matters right.
