Phat Xbox Can I coolrunner This Dash Ver

Hello

I was looking at Xconsoles.com and seen where thy sid the Coolrunner will work with all Kernel Versions, is the kernel the same as the dashboard? I have a Phat with the Zephyr & TS-H943 drive and my dash is 2.0.13146.0 will a coolrunner work with this dash and set-up?

Yes you can RGH it fine but zephyrs tend to be an issue. Some boot, some never do. Good luck

one other question, is the NAND-X all I need to program or do I still need to change the firmware on the DVD drive as well?

You will need a NANDX to Coolrunner JTAG cable to program your Coolrunner. They can be purchased through any official reseller.

You don't need to do anything to your drives firmware but you can always flash it with Ixtreme LT 3.0. It won't affect the RGH in any way.

Just as info, you might want to update to 14699 first, I always did this with all my consoles and never had any problems.

No need to update prior.

put it onto a usb and then put it in your 360

When created the image just choose which dash you want and write it to the console. I've never updated a console prior and have had no problems.
