pillegal size, NOT flashing

Has anyone else gotten this warning? This is what I am getting on my flashbios after the TCP intiliaze and I attempt to flash. I can't figure out how to change size of file.

What is the exact file you are using to flash?. with filetype and size.
X3 bios should be a .bin file and exactly 1MB or 1024KB...

x3_bios_works_on_x3_chip_ONLY. This is what I found on the bins

OK what I think the problem is I'm not getting the right bios from xbins. When I go in there I go to xbox/bios/xecuter/x3/ from here I tried the old folder after the only other two which were the two files named above. I got the files to the left side of flashfxp but can't seem to properly get them to the box. When I try to http the flash I get the error above about file being illegal size not flashing. What I'm talking about is when I type the IP into the IE the Xecuter flashbios page comes up. When I browse for bios file and upload that is when I get the error, on the PC and the xbox. But I think the problem is I'm not using flashfxp properly and am going to research that a little more becuase when I get to xbins I can't find any of bios the speak of in the tutorials such as X3_3294.bin and X3_1959.bin !

the bios's are definitely there! they are in:

XBOX/bios/Xecuter/Xecuter3

the structure will then look like this:

_old
FlashX3.rar
X3_3294.rar
x3_bios_works_on_x3_chips_ONLY

the file you want to download is X3_3294.rar. Unpack the rar file and inside will be two files. 3294_old.bin and 3294_v16+.bin or something verysimilar to that. Flash 3294_old if you have a version 1.0 - 1.5 xbox or 3294_v16+ if you have a version 1.6xbox.

When I tried to extract this file I got these two diagnostic messages ! C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\My Documents\X3_3294.rar: CRC failed in scriptlanguage_doc.txt. The file is corrupt
! C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\My Documents\X3_3294.rar: Unexpected end of archive
Any idea what might be causing this.

just try redownloading it - it may have become corrupted. Might be useful to also check the software you are uncompressing it with is upto date!
