To test for shorts, put your multimeter on the lowest resistance setting (which is continuity test for most) and touch between two pins that may be shorted... if you read very small resistance there is a short... if you read very large resistance there is no short.

To test for continuity, touch one probe to the pin and follow the trace to a pad... if you read low resistance then you have continuity.

My question is: should there be any continuity between any two pins?.
Because I get some continuity between some of the pins, even-though
the soldering looks ok, no visual signs of shorts.

Thanks

Flashed XBOX from last year question

Ok so last summer I flashed my XBOX 360 and for some reason on basically all new games such as Halo Reach Call of Duty Black Ops don't work they just say Un-Readable. I have a Boot Disc from last year. I don't know what to do. Do I need to update my XBOXs DVD drive firmware?

Re: Flashed XBOX from last year question

You will be running very old firmware which doesn't support the newer waves it's a simple case of updating your firmware which you should wait for new one to come out soon called LT+ before doing so.
