I have resoldered my points on to the LPC which on my Xbox v1.6 Motherboard, but it still seems to FRAG.

Somebody replied to a post yesterday saying that pin 15/9 was connected to C7D2. Is there a post that I am missing that tells you where all the pins are connected to where on the board?

I would really like to get the multimeter out and check for continuity on every pin and track down what one(s) is giving me the problem.

Has this been asked before and I have just missed the posting in my search through the forum.

Thanks in advance

regards

chris

ok so far I have found

Pin 9 - C7D2
Pin 15 - CD7D2
Pin 2 - CD7D2
Pin 12 - CD7D2

Is this right so far?

I don't really know exactly what your asking... but it should be simple.

Your using the rebuild chip...right?

Are both lights on it? If only one light is on... it's probably one of the solder points arent done right. If you know which LED isnt on, then it's pretty easy to find out which one isnt working. One of my LEDS wasnt working... re-soldered the 2 points that lit it up... and walah, no more frags.

I manage to have both LED's lit... but it still frags.

I am looking for something alon the lines of:

Pin 1 is being feed from CXXXX
Pin 2 is being feed from RXXX
etc..
etc.

This way I can select the continuity on the multimeter and make the from the component it reaches the right pin.

I am slowly losing the will to live with this chip (I know its my soldering but even still)

Not sure if this will completely solve your problem or if it is exactly what you're looking for, but I had used it to install my x2 lite and turned to it when installing a friends x3 when I was unable to find an updated diagram.

I believe his was a 1.3 so again, not sure how much this will relate to your 1.6, but I figured it might give you something to work off of.
