Pioneer 108 writer

Hi guys can anyone tell me if they have backed up their copies using this writer.
I have updated firmware to 1.20 used clonecd,imgburn and xbox backup creator useing Ridisc 8x DVD+R DL disc,s, but so far 6 coasters.
My backup is COD3 img made by xbox backup creator.
I Have just ordered some some verbatim 2.4x DVD+R 8.5GB Advazo Double Layer (5 Pack).
But dont want to toast these if the writer is no good.

I have a pioneer DVR-108 and have had no bad burns yet. I am very happy with this burner and would tell you not to hesitate when burning with it. I've used both Verbatim and Fuji discs. 22 perfect backups, not one coaster. I use imgburn and clone cd. Hope that eases your fears. Later.

I'd bet it's a media issue and once you get the Verbatim you'll be fine....but what kind of coasters did you get? Were there errors during burning or did the burn finish but the disc isn't playable?

How are you ripping the games? It kind of sounds like you're trying to use your Pioneer drive to rip the games with XBC - that won't work.

Games ripped fine used dvd rom with keoron firmware and read disc,s fine.

Yep first verbatim used worked fine so these are the disc,s to use......
