RGH Planning for my next move

OK, so I had just got my coolrunner and nand-x. and before RGH I just want to be sure about the followings:

1. My nand-x is not updated to Nandpro v3, so I would like to go dumping and writing with nandpro v2.0e/d. I do not want a ck3i or USB cable for updating it.

Now, I am wishing to use xnandhealer v7, for dumping/writing, Multibuilder for building hacked karnel / ecc XELL etc. Is it OK? new xnandhealer can go with nandpro v2.0e?

2. I wish to build my own xilinx cable to write jed files into coolrunner following gigli's schematics and planning to take 3.3v for external power from my PC power supply (orange cable of motherboard molex). Is it OK?

Nandpro 2.0e works perfectly fine.

You can solder the 3.3V and gnd pads of coolrunner directly to the install points on your xbox, and leave xbox turned off during programming with lpt cable.

So, I just connect coolrunner VCC to Xbox mobo install point and it is sufficient for programming CR ! How easy ! Thanks
