Playboy: The Mansion drops me to dash

So I got this game last week. Backed it up and tried to play it. When I'd load the game it just drops me back to the dashboard. When I opt to play off the DVD from dash, same thing happens.

Rebooted w/ the game in the DVD Drive (auto-play on) and that appeared to be the only thing that worked. However, when I tried the same thing with my backup copy, that would not work.

Anyone else have the game and get the same thing or know of any fixes?

You have to get some patcher for the game. Microsucks put some thing on there so it wont work with mods. ( my friend has the same problem he found a patch online that let him do it ill try to find it for you) email me at [email protected]

I think it's kinda like the Sims... I dunno. I make sure NOT to get games like that. And I agree, what happened to the side scrollers?! I will always miss those... or at least I would if I didn't own a Super Nintendo. I guess they recently came out with a new Contra for the PS2, but that is definately rare.

How to play Playboy Mansion on HDD

Hi peeps, this will help you out, go to the settings tab and scroll down until you see game default, you have to set it to auto and it will work.

game plays fine no patch is needed... probably just a bad copy and yes the game is basically the sims with nudity.

i still don't understand how you can be having trouble with it. it requires no patch. i used the latest version of dvd2xbox and my dash is avalaunch 0.49.2. are you sure it's not ur disk thats messed up?

try to use file manager in avalaunch and not dvd2xbox

I used boxplorer to back the game and running EvoX. I wonder if the problem lies in the dashboard?

I'm able to play the game off my origional copy only.

Sorry I haven't checked this in a while, but I'll email you XCRAZNMIKE sometime soon for the patch. At work now so I can't. Want to play it w/o the dvd.

What bios are u using??... Have you tried to launch it in another dash (UnleashX, MXM, Avalaunch)??..... I use THC lite, and work fine....

Sorry, the only dash I'm running is EvoX. I know EvoX is pretty basic, but I'm not much of a "power user", and in over a year, this is the first problem that I've enountered.
