Playboy: The Mansion drops me to dash

I'm having the same exact problem. Tried launching from Evox and Ava, loading from DVD2XBox and PxLoader, but I can't get it to stop dropping me back to the dash every time.

Hi peeps, this will help you out, go to the settings tab and scroll down until you see game default, you have to set it to auto and it will work.

is this an EvoX setting or a game setting?

i have the same prob with playboy. i have installed it on 2 xbox's, one with an x3 and latest bios and the other with an x2L with m8 bios i believe. both dropped me to dash. i didnt copy the original, its a dl. and running evox dash on both

well for those of you who were able to run it successfully from either the backup copy or the HDD copy, did you do anything special or different than what those of us who cannot are doing?

Did you simply make the backup and it worked?

all i did was use dvd2xbox. that was it and it works perfectly. no patch, no special tweaking, just used dvd2xbox. so i'm at a total loss as to why it's not working for most people.

C'mon now... if I were much younger (like around 15 years old; when I first got into playing video games), this would have been a game that I'd TOTALLY want to check out... for the sole purpose of checking out pixelated jubblies.

(So I relate to the younger crowd being excited about the game... or something.)

I tell people that ask me about Playboy The Mansion's premise, and I say the game is kinda along the same lines as The Sims, yet it's much more "business oriented". You know... the business of being a smut peddler.

I own the game, and it was only after I rented it first... and when I found out that the lovely Victoria Silvstedt could be my (Star Bunny) butler... I had to purchase a copy to continue playing it.

I also find the game reboots with the mod chip enabled on the1.4 xbox with a X3 (3029) .

well if u have so much trouble backing it up and you do actually own it legally. just play it off the real cd and just be cautious with that disc.
