Playing Avi., Divx and so on!

Hi everyone!
I got a brand new XBOX 360 which I'm planning on modding and putting a Blaster 360 on it.
I used to have a regular XBOX modded with an "Xecuter Mod Chip" and used "XBOX Media Center" to watch my movies, music & Pictures.

I wanted to know if there was something similar to the XBOX Media Center for the XBOX 360?

I have the XBOX 360 hooked to my PC which is running Vista Ultimate and I can use the Windows Media Center but everytime I try to play an AVI with Divx or Xvid Codecs I get an error and it won't play it.

Any help is much appreciated and thanks so much in advance!

You'll need to install Transcode360 or TVersity on the PC since the 360 does not support streaming or playing of avi/divx/xvid files by itself!

(See how annoying and unnecessary that is?)

Bigd23 -- thanks for the info, I setup TVearsity and it work ok, is Transcode360 better or which one u like better?

I've actually never tried TVersity myself but Transcode360 worked well when I used it. It's been a while though, I have a standalone player that supports divx/xvid so I normally just use that.
