Please forgive this noob..

I need to get the 5032 bios via http but when i follow the directions using a router, so i use the click the http on the xbox, then it reverts back to the connection, so i then i try to go the http using the computer and nothing show's up...., did i screw up? by the way i have 2.6 chip

Are you talking about the Cromwell HTTP flash or transferring the BIOS over via FTP?

I tried with w/no avail could the lan connection not be working-
I plug box into router and then connet computer online and ftp 192.168.0.99 and still get nothing...
Please PM for helping someone without bios skill

Maybe you need to be more specific in your tutorials like How2xbox.com. I found all the info i needed from there and also from threads from here. I now got it to work for the most part so far. Thanks for the help and i wish you could be nicer when you reply, if your trying to discourage people from asking questions its working.

P.S. I'm not trying to diss you.
