Please Help, i think i Bricked my Lite On

Hey Guys
I am VERY new to this whole XBox Scene, and i got a Probe Kit From CK3.co.uk
and all went good and well untill i accidently touched something else on the Board when i was trying to get the Key, and i think i might of shorted the Disc Drive, and now it wont turn on and when i connect the Kit and Power the Kit up, the Lights go on and off again, and the Drive is Powerless!
Please Help me!!!

I Live in South Africa, so it will be hard to get it to him, would probably be cheaper to just buy a new Drive, but i will be more than willing to pay you for the repair if you'd walk me through what to do if thats possible ?

does the drive work when its in the 360?

Nope its totally Dead.
when i turn on the 360, the on/off button just flashes in the middle

id pm tj mate and speak to him. he can get the keys from the worst drives. and also you cant just get a new drive if you dont have the key dumped from the original. did you get a good key from the drive?

I got nothing m8, it just died =( i think i shorted something i have no idea =(

tbh mate you cant put another drive in it then. you need that key. tj is the man for these drives so id seriously considert spending the money on getting it to him. speak to him mate, he may be able to sort it with just the pcb so that would cut the postage costs. im not him though mate so i dont want to speak for him, send him a pm. thats all i can say mate as its beyond my ability to recover the key from a dead drive.

What is "red x is missing point" what does that mean, should i do something or just leave it ?
The Bridge Wire and Fixing I understand, but why am i fixing the Cuts and Bridging?

if no points are missing then simple rebuild the cuts you made ( solder a peice of wire over them )
