please help is xbox dead?

I have a friend who came over with a jasper board and it would not turn on. Looks like he tried to replace the stby clk resistor and rip the trace all the way up to the hanna chip. When trying to power on sometimes power brick turns red and other times stays orange.
Is there an alternate to this resistor by the hanna or is the box toast since the trace up to the hanna is gone.

Finding an alt point will not do any good. That's like trying to fix a water leak in your house by digging a new well and then wondering why your house is flooding. It's becasue you didn't actually fix the original leak.... The damage most be repaired. An alt point is an either/or option and not an option if the first is damaged to the point of rendering the console inoperable.

I understand in order to use alternate the original must be fixed I guess that was my question with the trace up to the hanna being ripped is there any to even fix in order to use an alternate with replaceing the resistor as well.
