Please Help me! Cant get past FlashBios menu.

I just installed my Xecuter2.6ce chip. Im having a problem which no one seems to be able to help me with. I have flashed the chip with a number of bios's tonight and I keep getting the same result. After I turn on the Xbox Im brought to the FlashBIOS screen and given these options:

Enable Network Flashing
Load BIOS From HDD
Load BIOS from Disc
Unlock HSS
Lock HDD

Thats it. My Xobox does nothing from there. No matter if I put in a boot disc, store bought game, backed up game it does nothing. What am I doing wrong? Im starting to get desperate due to being at this for many hours.

FYI the Xobx version is 1.0

What bios did you exactly flash with it? Maybe you're flashing a flashbios. The latest X2 bios available is X2_5035_vOld_512k.bin since you have a v1.0 xbox.

A boot disc will not run without a hacked bios (like X2 bioses) installed, If you have auto-installer like Slayer's 2.6 then boot with it after flashing with X2_5035.

I am currently using X2_5035_vOld_512k.bin. But the only thing that i get is the FlashBIOS menu. I have Slayers 2.6 and nothing. I put the disc in and nothing happens. What am I missing?

Wait.. I got it. I flashed bank 2 with that bios and when I changed it back to bank one I get a screen saying xecuter2 config loading and then it loads the dashboard. When I put the Slayers 2.6 in it tell me it cant read the disc and that it may be dirty. I know the disc is good because it works fine on my other xbox's. But this is at least progress.

To correct that last post it says "Xecuter2 Config Live Loading". Does this mean its loading in Xbox Live mode?

No it's not. It is just loading the bios and it's features.

What blank media did you use? v1.0 xbox usually use Thomson Drive which is pretty picky when it comes to blank media. Try to change your blank media and use a dvd-r.

You are right again. I did switch it to DVD-R and everything is working nice now. Thanks again for all your help.
