I have an the X3 Ce it is running on a 1.6 version Xbox I have accidentaly written over the cromwell bios and can no longer flash any bios's because I can't ftp into my box anymore. I have that proswith on the front of my xbox and it was unprotected and only slot 2 was active. What can I do I'm a newbie at this Oh I can't boot intop my backup either

most likely your back up bios (flashbios) is still there. If you have button 2 active (blue) then you are on banks 5678. You have 2 choices. Try reflash again to the same banks. Simply press both power/eject buttons at the same time to bring up flashbios and then proceed with the flashing procedure or activate both first 2 buttons (1 & 2 buttons turns blue). This will put you on banks 1234 and do the same procedure as above.

I can't boot inot backup

I get nothing but a black screen on a backup boot. Thanks for your help

are you using the stock a/v cable? if not, you need to use that instead.

Yeah I am I think I need to make a bootable cd if that sounds right but my think is how do I get a copy of that cromwell bios I'm so pist I'm new to xbox modding but not to modding in general I can do alot of sh*t with nextel phones that never gave me a headache like this is

try the switch on (on on off off) the first 2 blue, then boot this should give u banks 1234 to flash to.

It frags out I can boot into the modchip with switch one active only and switch two active only. togther it frags. I want the screen that allows me to select how I will flash my bios

sounds like you are out of options since doesn't seem you have any flashbios in any banks. Only alternative is to send it to retailer to reflash or if you have another modded xbox or another chip, then do hotswap.
