Please help ...Too many problems 1.6

i have been getting problems one after another with x3 and 1.6

1. unable to read hd partition.......
2. ms bios loads up and requests service.....
3. frags

i checked all solder points and they are all good. no crosses.... i take it out check all connections..... i keep retrying to flash the bios and reboot... i do this a couple of times and then it goes back to normal...when its normal..... i dont touch anything on the board.... not assembled back... and all the sudden it crashes again screen go blank and back to the beggining....all solder points are good. i used the addon piece for the lads for 1.6

forgot to add...when it crashes i get error code 06.... the hd is a segate ST310014

i just reboot it now and i get the flash bios screen.....when it goes to detect the hd, i get $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$7.49 $ $ 44.62GB Unable to read first sector and then it overlaps to the beggining. It a crystal version

Code 6 means it can’t unlock the HDD. Is this the same HDD that was in the Xbox before you installed the chip? Did you do anything to the HDD before installing the chip?

i did nothing to HD... this is the original drive.... like i said.... i keep flashing the bios to get it to boot... i got the 06 error and then after reboots its fine.... i dont even touch the unit and it just crashes on its own....

Have you tried unlocking the HDD?

BTW, just an observation about your 3rd pic on that page. The D0 wire is supposed to be soldered to the LPC rebuild PCB on the pad that says “D0”.

it can be on that DO point and on the point where it shows in the alternative

Well, hold on a moment since it is working for you now. Back to the HDD, have you unlocked it yet?

you see the first 2 pics?.... thats what im getting now.... its not working... i doint know why i would have to unlock the hd since it is the original and i did nothing to it...i had it working...all i was doing was copying files and it crashed....i think there is a glitch

Does any one know how to use the my video tab in the fsd2.0 dash, is it for personal videos or for game previews. If for personal videos how do I get them to load or show in the video tab having prob with xml line on that one?

Is there a download for FSD 2.0 ? or is the udate the only way to get it ?
