Ive got a 1.6 (Xcalibur video chip) , switches on front set to on on off off off, actually tried both settings. Everything appears fine untill I flash the x3 with 3294. Unit flashes the bank and switches off like it's supposed to. When I turn it back on it switches off after around 2 seconds, does this 3 times and then sits there flashing the power light green/red (as though its fragging). Ive tested ALL the tracks and wiring till Im blue in the face. Ive tried it on 3 xbox boards (1.1 , 1.3 & 1.6) and it worked on the 1.3 but got identical problem on the 1.1. Ive even bought another x3 hoping it was a faulty chip, but get exactly the same.
Hope I aint left anything out but feel free to correct me.

The last switch you have set to on should be off, this is flash protection. on on off off off try this.

make sure the flash protection the the x3 itself is off.... agood way of telling is to look inside your xbox when it is on and if you see a blue light it means the flash protection is offfffffffffffffffffffffffff

You have successfully flashed x3 chips before, no? So you know what you are doing when flashing. It sounds like a possible solder problem. I know everyone gets tired of hearing check your solder, but most of the time, that is whats wrong. Good luck.
