please help with bios dvd

i have installed the x3 chip and i want to flash it with the X3 2913 bios i got it from xbins and i unrared it. i have a version 1.6 xbox so i am trying to create a dvd with teh X3 2913 v16plus bios i keep burning image dvds using nero 6 renaming it to bios.bin and adding a 100 meg dummy file but when i try flashing the bios it doesnt find the bios so i was wondering if i have to convert them to xiso format or somthing.


PLEASE HELP i have spent hours trying to figure this out

i know i have read it and reread it and reread it again i did all the same settings and everything but it wouldint read it.

nope. as long as you have your xbox connected to a network with a router and pc, you're set. Let me know if you need help.

lol, get a patch cat5 cable and connect to your router. If the router is set on dhcp enabled, then it will automatically assign your xbox an ip. Just follow this guide to flash:
http://www.teamxecuter.com/flashbios/http.htm. If the dhcp is disabled, your xbox will default to ip: 192.168.0.99. What you would do next is configure your PC ip so that it's 192.168.0.X X=any # between 2-254 excluding 99. Then go to IE browser and type: http://192.168.0.99. Flashbios should come up and all you have to do is direct it to where you placed the bios and flash.

Make sure to set to the appropriate switches first though.
