Ok, no you do not flash the EvoX bios. You install the EvoX dashboard by ftping it to the C drive of you Xbox. But before you do that please make a back up of your C and E drives.

FTP the following files:

Evox.ini
evoxdash.xbe
skins folder
trainers folder
bios folder

All of that goes into the C drive.

OK I am having a problem for you evox experts. I transferred those files to my C drive on Xbox. I can boot to the evox dashboard, but I have no options. I only have Boot to Ms dashboard, reboot, setting, backup and something else. I cannot access a skins folder or load any games from my harddrive. I need help because I am not getting any features of evox

Hello Members

I flashed evox and ftp to pc goes smoothly. I copy C & E from Xbox to my PC. then I transfer 2 files evox.ini and evoxdash.xbe to xbox C: hard drive. remove boot disc, power up. it return to x3 config live screen, then I selected to Reboot To Dash its show Evox screen, Then I select MS dashboard: msg error 21 or I disable x3 by hold down power switch: same error msg 21 ( service require call customer support)

I wondering anyone cross this experience before please share with

Thanks

for the guy with no menu, you have to edit you ini to show wher you stuff is. like for me my menu in the ini looks like this....

Section "Launch Menu..."
{
Section "Games..."
{
Section "Offline Games..."
{
AutoAddItem "f:\Games\Offline Games\"
AutoAddItem "g:\Games\Offline Games\"
SortAll
}
Section "Online Games..."
{
AutoAddItem "f:\Games\Online Games\"
AutoAddItem "g:\Games\Online Games\"
SortAll
}
}
Section "Applications..."
{
AutoAddItem "f:\Applications\"
AutoAddItem "g:\Applications\"
SortAll
}
Section "Dashboards..."
{
Item "EvoX","f:\EvoX\dash.xbe"
Item "Avalaunch","f:\Ava\default.xbe"
Item "UnleashX","f:\UX\default.xbe"
Item "XBMC","f:\Applications\XboxMediaCenter\default.xbe"
Item "MS Dash","c:\xboxdash.xbe"
}
}
Section "Turn Off..."
{
Item "Power Cycle",ID_Full_Reboot
Item "Power Off",ID_Power_Off
Item "Reboot",ID_Quick_Reboot
}

though that will probably not work for you so you just gota edit the auto add things to show correct paths..

just as quick sanity check please

i have a liteon dvd drive that will not read anything any longer. I still have a copy of all the files i used to flash it with LT oringally. If i want to replace the broke one with a new liteon, all i should have to do is use the old flash material to flash the new one correct? and once i do that, do i update to LT Plus or should i use the old flash files to go directly to LT Plus on the new new.

drive currently has LT1.1 on it. but the dummy file i have is from ixtreme days. can i just point jungleflasher at that dummy file and it get the key from there in order to import it into LT+?

thanks a ton.

mass confusion i am finding on the net and just wanted a pointed answer and i did search.

Re: just as quick sanity check please

Frst off make sure you have got the up to date JungleFlasher
Hook up your new LiteOn to your PC
Start JungleFlasher
Make sure your drive is sen in JungleFlasher
Put it into Vendor Mode
Open up your Dummy.bin into SOURCE
You should then get the Auto Loading Source Pop Up
Click Yes
And if you have your LT Plus firmware in the Firmware folder, JungleFlasher will load it up for you with you correct DVD Key.
Now flash that drive and show it who's the man :D
When flashed click the Outro/ATA Reset button

You should now be able to put you new drive into your xbox
