Please help with my case

ok i am going to paint my xbox but when i opened it to take off the front panel the metal sheild was there. i dont really want to take out my mobo to take off the metal sheild. If i do have to take of the shielding to get to the eject board to take off the panel does anybody have a tut for it? or is there any other way of getting my front panel off?

but i dont really wanna buy it and the tut for it on that page is very hard to follow(i cant tell where those pieces are)

this is a tut on removing the front panel, in the pics the motherbaord and everything is out u dont need to do that. hope this helps, he also has some other good tuts on this site.

yeah, you didnt know how to do that? just rip it off! it wont hurt any.

i use a butter knife on mine
just slide it in on the sides of the front and pry it
it will make a pop noise but thats just fine

thanks guys, i got off the front and i just finished the first coat of paint on my brothers front panel. im almost done with his xbox. while i had it off i also did the red LED thing at the front switching wires 5 & 6 and 7&8. ill post pics of it when im done

cool, thats always everyones first mod, and its the best! lol sorry if you did something better as your first mod, but the red led thing is the easiest.

well i did the X on the xbox red and have the red eject led, im also going to put red leds in the ports
