Hi I really need help as its my little cousins christmas present. I cant tell her its going to be late as she still belives in Father Christmas (I had another problem with the bios on another xbox).

Its a v1.6 xbox with the samsung memory and an X3 modchip.

When i press the power button quiickly it just loads the MS dash.
The front panel lights red and the hd light comes on.
On the mod chip the main led comes on as does two smaller led's on the side of the chip.

If i press the eject button all the lights come on but it just frags.

I have gone over all the solder points many times and I solder every day as part of my job.

Can anyone give me any advice???

1. Set all switches to off. See if the Xbox boots with the blue X3 logo like this. You have to press the power button VERY quickly to enable it.

2. Check the power/eject board (where your yellow cable plugs into) - peel back the sticky pad and check that you haven't any shorts.

3. Try booting the backup BIOS by pressing power/eject together.

2 questions.

1) Is the new slim 360 hackable?

2) I read that you cannot spoof a Liteon with LT firmware. The thing is I had an old 360 which had benq and bought a new one which has liteon. Now I am spoofing the benq as the liteon with 1.2 LT. So, I wanna ask what do they mean by the first sentence?

Re: 2 questions.

the drive will spoof as a liteon and play games as normal
but it may be detectable over xbox live
do this at your own risk!
