Please help

I am in trouble, Its a 1.6 and I used the LPC rebuild. All the solder points look pretty good, but obviously im no expert. The power button doesn’t seem to work at all, the dvd drive doest eject, it just FRAGS turns on and off a few times, sometimes goes amber. The little blue lights on the chip are on and the external switch is red and nothin on the screen. My main concern with the install is that the modchip itself doesn’t seem to sit tightly and securely on the LPC pins. Im thinkin iv'e screwed it and I should just quit while im ahead and get a console repairer to have a look at it.

Hello. I have a modded system running a ben Q i believe. All i really know is that it has a hard time reading disc. Not just backups but even really games. It always says reading then after couple min says open tray. I have 2 spare extra hit v79 drives i bought off ebay. I was wondering if there was a way i could use one of those in place of this dvd drive that wont read games.
