man, from my limited experience in this, i'd say check your soldering, because it might have a wrong connection, let someone else compare the schematics with your circuit.. good luck!!

Hey buddy, next time, actuall read the forums before adding another post to the multitude of other ones that are the exact same as yours. Its called a FRAG.

Oh, and good luck fixing it. I'm working on mine.

If it is a 1.6 xbox (which I'm going to assume) and you used the rebuild PCB (You should have!) then I'd go to this post here and just make ABSOLUTELY sure that EVERY solder point having to do with the rebuild is done. I had this problem for almost 2 weeks and all it was was a solder point that I just overlooked and didn't even do yet.

First of all... did you use the pcb rebuild or wire. I tried the wire, and failed miserablly. I then tried the pcb rebuild and it worked like a dream. I got the chip to boot... and even messed up the bios on the chip(but that is a different story) be careful and check all the joints. I found that with the wire I was soldering in the wrong places... and even missed one somehow. the pcb is easy to use. Noob or not!

my xb is a 1.4 or 1.5 I am not sure yet but I have pretty much narrowed it down to my pin header. can someone acurately tell me how to solder it. And do you have to solder the open hole in the top right? Thanks!!!!!

Uh.......your post is about as clear as this AHHADKFASKLFJBKEKLA;JA

But really, does your Xbox boot at all, i.e. with the chip disabled or in backup mode? It obviously won't boot into the flashbios :)shock: no way). If it won't boot at all, you messed up something on your mobo.

If so, I suggest breaking out a multimeter and testing points that should have continuity for an electrical connection (this would be a good thing). This should help you find out what your problem is. If you have broken a trace, you can bridge the two points together with a wire.
