Hi a friend of my try to flash an xbox for the first time and he didn't know how to do it and after he messed up he bring it to me. The problem is here the console had a samsung drive in it and it was with the latest dashboard i took the key and falsh the drive but when i put a game it says please put this disc into an xbox 360 ... I manage to get the OFW from a shop that was flashed in 2008 for the first time and originaly was a liteon 93450 ! so i changed the drive from samsung to liteon and reflash again. The key of the samsung and the key that the shop gave me where exactly the same ! I dont know where is the problem here !

FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF is not the DVD key, so if thats the only one you have then that is now just a DVD player unless you can recover the correct key from firmware or else go to the effort of doing RGH and flash xell to get the keys.

are you on the correct dashboard for the LT+v3.0 to work? ano you said it is but maybe try flashing back to stock firmware and try an original game see what it does

They key i think is good because i use sammy unlock to get the key from the samsung and then i ask the shop and he gave me the original key of the drive and they match perfectly ! + i checked even the serial number of the case and the xbox maybe they change the housing ! The Drives are good coz i tested them on anther console and it says Play dvd not open tray.

Read the log again. The key is being copied over. You either didn't read the log or don't understand the process.

Even me thats what im thinking a wrong key but how when i get the key from the samsung and the key from my friends shop match !! this guy he use to play with this xbox from 2008 !! so the key maybe good becuase he send it to me via email and was a liteon 9 series !! im tired for today i will continue tomorrow thanks to all of you for your help

Ok you missed a q..what dash is the console on...sounds like pre 13146 if the sammy was working..therefore need stock 93450 before updating..02510 only post 13146 ..lt3 is for later dash too
Pointless putting firmware on that's not compatible with the dash

yep ok. missed that :facepalm: to me
strange that it's got to that dash with the wrong drive without any update errors

Read the log you posted. The LT3 firmware you loaded has FFFF's but:

Actually TELLS you it's copying the DVD key over. This may not help you with your current issue, but should fill a gaping hole in your understanding.

Now - onto the current problem. Did you ever receive this console in a working state? No? Therefore you have no idea of what's been done to it. You might have to chalk this up as a loss.

The Dashboard match and the console comes in not working condition i dont know what had done on it but how even the original firmware is not working ! The one that the shop sends me via email ! it match the one that i took from the samsung ! i think they replace the drive to update the console becuase normal i find them like stuck into the update

i try also to pobe the key from the drive with phatkey from jf and it's showing the same key of the shop ! i think like there is somthing corrupted here

Sounds like the shop gave you the wrong key. Of course if you phatkey a drive that you just flashed, it will return the key you just flashed

In the case of a spelling error, I blame Tapatalk.

Yes originals and is saying to put it in an xbox360 i will give it to him and he will use it as big fat dvd player about the shop i dont know
