Pls Pls read n help

i have just installed my chip a few days ago but lost the power/eject cable so sent of for a replacement i thought not having this was making my chip not work. recived the cable to day and its still not working properly. both blue leds on the chip are lit i can power it on and off. wen i power on the chip in fragges green x2 for half a seconded then flashes red/green the blue logo sign is lit up on the switch but nothing is on the tv can any1 help me, is there something wrong with my chip

Oh, geez, recheck your soldering.

Before you get flamed.
1. Search the install forum for FRAG. This question gets asked hourly.
2. Check your soldering. It is the biggest cause of FRAG. Make sure you have the D0 point correct, and that the pin header is properly soldered.

i got a new motherboard with the pin header and all wires professional soldered so do think its the soldering the mobo had any aladdin chip in it b4 mine i think

Ok, first off, i'm not too sure on how well the Aladdin and Xecuter chips are interchangeable. Second, make sure all the wires (d0 especialy) are still attatched. Third, check that the pinheader is the correct size.
