RGH plz help

hi

I was doing RGH and when i want to solder point B

I made a mistake





I give more heat and the capacitor or resister I don't know what it is pull out (which shown in the picture )

is it possible to replace it

the xbox is phat jasper 16MB

i done like 40 RGH I know what im doing...
i don't know what is wrong with me today

can you tell me how to fix????

Cant tell you how when we cannot see what you damaged. post some high rez pics.

the resistor shown in the picture is not there it get pull out

i have it in my hand but it can not be solder again

is there any replacement

Ok but we still need to see what damage has been done to the board.

Post pictures or you're probably not going to get any help.

That should be a 34ohm smd resistor. You can just replace it if the pads are still intact.

Just saw your post. They're not intact then. As above post pics so we can suggest suitable fix. Need to see whats left of your traces if there is anything left

That looks like the pads are fine. just reattach the resistor with a fine tipped iron and a pair of smd tweezers. The solder joint on the QSB on the other hand looks pretty bad. looks like its cold and you didnt use any flux.

this is a stupid question

do i have to use smd resistor

or normal resistor works

Either will work but you say you have the smd and if the pads are still there then I would go that way.

a normal resistor will work, but you're going to have to solder some wire leads to it because its just not plausible to mount a through mount resistor to the board there. anyways if you still have the smd resistor just reattach it. use flux, fresh solder and a nice fine tipped iron. 15-25 watts should be all you need.

actually the smd resister i have is ruined it cut in half

this is very old xbox i just touch it and get pull out


im gonna try with normal resister and hope will make it work
