I never tried this but I seen videos of this...but how do you use linux or put linux to the JTAG??

Can you point me to the right direction.

I am downloading Debian_5.0_Mini_LiveCD-Free60 off Auto XBINS right now...<<Is this the right one??

Okay I got the ISO, burned it, ran through XELL but still I am missing something!! It says no BOOTABLE DEVICE FOUND. Any ideas????

Get gentoo-livecd-xenon-beta-v2.iso, however you'll have a hard time mounting and formatting a hard drive to install linux permanently on. ALso might not work with standard MS HDD and will need a new HDD.

But still should load and get the main OS working from CD.

Okay MWN, do I have to add something to the JTAG??? Or does the CD work?? Without putting anything into the HHD??? With the my second entry here, i mentioned that the program ran but unable to boot, i aslo got the Debian_5.0_Mini_LiveCD-Free60.sfv...Just wondering if this is what I'm missing but other then that I am downloading what u mentioned!!

some dvd drives don't handle the image too well, try a different drive, or different media.

I am using a benq drive and hitachi drive on two xenon motherboards. Will those work?? Or do u suggest a Sammy??

Okay I got one to work...Xenon with a Sammy Drive...but when I try and run the web browser it loads for awhile then disappears...kept pressing the browser and still nothing...any ideas???? I got the gentoo live cd xenon v.2.

Solved my problem...Is it safe to surf around the web using LINUX????The problem turned out that I had to change the sata cable and the power cord from the drive to the motherboard because the drive didnt work when LINUX was on...again I'll ask "Is it safe to browse the WEB using Linux through a JTAG"???
