  • ok so problem is i have cr4 xl and the jtag alt v2. There is a point i believe i need to solder. that is missing off my motherboard. not sure if i need this point but the pictures are here. sorry files are to big to upload

Correct me if i'm wrong but i'm sure your pictures does not match your Jrunner log, You Jrunner Log Shows That The Motherboard is an Zephyr But Your Pictures Show Your using an corona Motherboard But I Could Be Wrong

yea all zephyrs have the paint over that point that ive seen.have to scrape the paint as suggested.

Here are my complete imagines as for now I try to boot cell the system starts and debug light blinks twice and fans speed fast and I get left top and bottom red lights blink.

console is overheating. heat sinks are not flush with chip die. remove the heat sinks and re apply thermal compound. make sure old compound has Ben completely removed.

Cleaning the old is the hardest part. It takes a lot of elbow grease but it really needs to be done. The chip needs to be polished to a shine before applying new paste.

Little tip: use brake parts cleaner to clean the chips. Takes off everything and leaves no trace of old paste anywhere within 10 seconds :)

let it sat for 3 or 4 minutes then take one of those paddes to spread paste on chip and it will comes off easy scrape off easy
