Right in my opinion this is absolute bullshit!
To have a warrant in this sort of scale you would have to do something pretty serious, ye copyright fraud is a crime but wouldn’t be handled in this sort of situation, also warrants do not look like that unless we go back in time to when I was a small child.

As for the search and seizure warrant form, the officer would have to fill in the pieces of information at the bottom otherwise the warrant is void.
The fact that I can see it isn’t filled in and this is after the event, I believe its bullshit.

I could be wrong but I think someone is looking for a bit of attention.

O yeah btw, using any software encryption to hide data, or store on virtual drive. Unless it’s a removable device and u has hidden such a device, they will be able to unlock it/find it and use it. Nothing you can do, you think software encryption would stop them finding your stuff!? Ever thought of these people using the software you used to encrypt to decrypt it too?

Anyway guys you make up your own minds, but someone who is in "big sh*t" wouldn’t be bothering about posting it on 360mods, as if.

They wouldn’t be able to get a warrant with some person snitching on you. They would have to have real evidence to back up their reason for a warrant. Jesus I am convinced this is bullshit now, if you’re going to lie, at least do it properly and think about it. The pictures were a nice touch but I’m going to do a Google search now and if I find them, prepare for an edit.

i wish you were right dan05011991 i got a kid on the way and im out of a job had to ask my grand parents fot the cash for a lawyer i know you think its bullshit but im just trying to let you know in ca this is starting to be the norm the goverment is changing. on may 12 I go to court i will be posting what happens to me step by step im going to fight this.

I know all this stuff is considered illegal and we shouldn't be doing it, but it's funny that this is what Homeland security spends their time doing with our tax dollars. Don't kick out the some 10 million illegal immigrants running around committing crimes and living here tax free, let's go after people who burn a few games so we can protect Microsoft, a trillion dollar corporation.

You say someone snitched you out cuase they were mad that they got banned. So this sounds to me like you perhaps sell modding services and if you mod for profit you probably sell games for profits too.

And eithe rone is what really gets you in big trouble.

If you get caught just downloading copyrighted material for personal use that *usually* ends up in a civil suit between you and the copyright holders, not a criminal trial on felony charges.

You know what....if your telling the truth, my heart goes out to you man, really. I just can't see this happening to a fellow swashbuckler. You f**ked up. Somewhere. If sombody snitched you out for sellin backups, or modifing their console, you should emphisize to your lawyer you had a verbal contract with your clients about the rules of owning them and you made sure they owned the original copy before you gave them a backup. Idk man, this is a tough situation your in. I'm sorry, I don't know any advice I could give to you. The leagal system regarding piracy is somthing I know very little about I don't know how much power they have in procecution. I would fight to the death about it tho...and to be honest this isn't the best place to seek help. This is a forum of people who need help flashing their xbox, not a legal advice forum. I would reccomend torrentfreak. They have alot of articles on a verity of things regarding sh*t like this, you may find an answer to some help over there. Good luck man, you'll need it.

for theses kind of charges you have to be distributing illegal copies and more than likely profiting from them ( on a large scale). i don't see them having homeland security for this either? local police could do just fine. not saying your lying saying if your tellin the truth it ain't the whole truth

im living in ireland and i have a 30mb connection i download so much stuff i wont say but i have never got a police warrant or letter form the my isp that tells how much the u.s are really cracking on pircey but as for making backups of your games thats a f**king joke. 2 bad then u didnt hide ur moments.
