OK I know this isn't xbox related, but I have gotten like 7 alerts from my firewall in 10 minuets, and it keeps telling me that port 159 is trying be be hacked. I know this port has to do with NetBIOS and is a prime port for hackers, but this has never happened before. It's from the IP address 192.168.0.101, which I know isn't anything important, but does anybody know if there could be something causing this, or is some hacker just really persistant. Thanks in advance.

Well, I took German II and then stopped, so I may not be of much use. But I'm pretty sure that Halomaster7777 has got it correct. Meinen is one tense of, "my."

As far as insults go, in our class, the favorite insult was, "Ziegelblouser!" I think that is spelled right... probably not correct German, but funny nonetheless.

right behind you
kind of far out, but what access restrictions do you have on your network

and as said above, that ip is from an internal device (inside your network)

'War driving' think its called something like that...

Most probably it is a hacker or someone that has picked up your wireless network and are trying to exploit it to see what they can get from it. Next time it happens look around your street to see if there is anybody suspicious. Most of the time they drive around searching for wireless networks that they can exploit. Almost like what we do with the LPT port, exploiting it to get the most out of the xbox.
Thank God for firewalls...

getting back the the hacking.

type ipconfig (assuming your on 2K - XP) to make sure its not your own ip

Go to the router config page and see if its assigned that IP via DHCP to another PC or xbox you have If it has but you dont have another PC, Enable WEP incase some one is riding on your network.

either way - its local to your network.

enable WEP encryption on your network. trust me. i have been able to drive around with my friend's laptop and find networks wide open all day. from homes to businesses to hospiltals and dr. offices. ENABLE WEP ENCRYPTION. it's not too hard to configure.
