RGH Posible fix for Falcon RGH 2 freezing problem

Thanks for all your help, I tried all nand´s and tried all kind of wiring, all kind of setting at my CR3 Lite, all kind of USB hdd´s, but it freezes and crashes, and therefor I flashed everything to stock and I will never ever try a falcon with RGH2, falcon with RGH1 is so perfect !! but those RGH2 wont do their job ... :frown:

I fixed my freezing falcon RGH2, by using this SMC_config.bin and lowering the temps in the advanced xebuild settings in jrunner. My console used to freeze on every boot anywhere from the bootanim to 1-3 mins in. Tested it last night for over 30 mins on MW3 spec ops, without a hitch.

I would like to try this with a RGH2 fat I had and was wondering what I would use to inject the smc.bin into my nand. I've tried nandpro with the following command "nandpro nand.bin: -w16 smc.bin 0 1" But don't want to flash it if this is not the proper way of doing it as I don't feel like soldering in my programmer again just incase it fails. When I extract the SMC this way I get a file that is 17kb as opposed to 12kb that other programs extract.

Ive had good success with Falcon 2.0, but are a real pice of work. I've now stopped doing them because it takes too long and isnt worth the money.

I also have a Falcon that refuses to be stable. I do have it glitching now within 1 minute, but it still freezes.
Do you want the SMC config extract from my retail nand as well Martin? Or do you have enough already?
I also tried using a donor nand, works a little better, but still freezes after a while. Maybe try a different one, or play with the settings myself. Anyway. Just let me know if you need it!

Hi, I'm getting freezes on boot anim on Falcon CB 5773 (14719 dash). let me explain that i did.
1) I installed CR3 Lite, glitch fast and ran xell and I got CPUkey, KV, etc.;
2) created 15574 freeboot RGH2 and flashed back on console. The glitch occurs, but blank screen nothing happens.
3) tried flash retail dashs 13599, 14699, 14719 and 3rl and get 0022 error;
4) tried flash original NAND, OK but freezes on boot anim. if I remove harddisk the boot logo doesnt appear, only blank screen and no 3rl.
anyone can help me?

Just posting to advise that this has fixed a freezing falcon RGH2 that I did. Thanks very much for all your help

Just read the PDF guide from J-Runner. Make a "build an image without nanddump.bin" in J-runner.
And replace the smc.config for a working one.
I used the one of d**ko316(page 7).
It is really easy, you just need to read only.

well guys,nothing of this thread has helped me, i'm with a falcon of a customer for 2 weekes already and no solution, it always feeze after 1 min,you can put on clock 1min and feezes...

Did you try to lower the temp settings?, I spend 2 months on the falcon that I was working on, just try diferent donor nands, and different temp settings.

yes, i tried many diferent temp settings, used 15 diferent donors from other customers, 5772 and 5773, used smc and smc_config from all of than, test lowering temp and original temps, still freezes... i'm going crazy with that already, more then 50 diferent rgh images, with autogg, j-runner and xebuild, i don't know what to do...
