yes, i tried many diferent temp settings, used 15 diferent donors from other customers, 5772 and 5773, used smc and smc_config from all of than, test lowering temp and original temps, still freezes... i'm going crazy with that already, more then 50 diferent rgh images, with autogg, j-runner and xebuild, i don't know what to do...
As Martin has told me you shouldn't need the SMC just the smc-config. It's all I used from the donor which fixed mine. Try with just that and see if that helps.

first, hi to all members and sorry if my bad english does not meet your liking

ok i have read all possible threads and posts about falcon and rgh2 but i still cannot figure some things out

1. some guys are telling to use another route for post_out1 but nobody is actually telling which route he used after posting that another route worked for them.
- so whitch routes are alternatives to test?

2. i have read that RGH in general makes the xbox temperatures rise. is this fact or just a falcon mythos? in fact i think this is right because in stock nand, my xbox has never frozen.

with the hacked nand the xbox freeze. and the point is, if i set the temperature values in xebuild to 75% (for example) the xbox works for like 300% longer than with the AUTO-Values.

i also tried to reduce the thermal settings in SMC config with the same result as described above.

- so basically i just want to know if the higher temps are a side effect from the hacked nand? Or not?

3. with that all say'd i have tried the tips but nothing helped. The xbox always freezes whyle staying (idle) at the dashboard...

are there any new tips that i could user?
do you have one or more proper post_out routes that helped stop freezing?

thanks and by folks

1. nothing to do with POST_OUT1.

2. Temps nothing to do with RGH.

3. Did you try the other SMC configs?

I've attached another (RAW with spare data - use nandpro / J-Runner to write it at address 0x3DE). This one worked fine for me at RGH2.

Thanks. Should your file be a smc-config.bin? If so it diddnt work. The file in the archive was only 33 KByte. I thout the SMC config should be 64 KByte. Jrunner abortet image creation With error.

BUT. I thout i should check out the donor SMC config from d**ko316 a second time. Downloaded it again and put it in the directory xebuild/data. When jrunner asked if the found SMC config file should be deleted i choosed no and flashed this nand.

Now all works and i never ever got a freeze anymore. Played my copy of skyrim throu last night. !!!

That's because you didn't read my post. Read it again.

Martin, could you tell us how we do that? (write the config to 0x3DE). Is this in J-Runner's custom Nand/CR functions? If so, what size and length do we choose?

Yep - you can do it all in the Custom NAND/CR functions. Select the config.bin file, choose write / 16 / and from address as 3DE. Leave the length blank as it's not needed.

Or use nandpro
nandpro device*: -r16 config.bin 3DE 2
nandpro device*: -w16 config.bin 3DE 2

*device could be a virtual nand (updflash.bin or nanddump.bin if you want), usb or lpt.

So you think only reading/writing 1 block of a 2 block config area is fine then? I hope that's not global advice you give out.
No i do not think that, so its actually 3DE and 3DF that we want?

I fixed my freezing falcon RGH2, by using this SMC_config.bin and lowering the temps in the advanced xebuild settings in jrunner.
I fixed mine with your smc_config file also! I tried alot of different things. Multiple donor nands, configs etc. This is the one that worked.

This in combination with the settings in this post: http://team-xecuter.com/forums/showpost.php?p=672661&postcount=189 has gotten me a stable Falcon with RGH2 that boots in 2 - 3 glitches. Sometimes instantly.

I'm really thankful for all the help!

Just to let you guys know this worked for me and eliminated the freezing problems I was encountering, now I just need to find a setting that will get the thing glitching, cause at the moment it does not even glitch 70% of the time... i'll get there, eventually, but these RGH2 Falcons are terrible...

Just thought i would share my results. I have a falcon rgh 2 cb 5774 and non of the smc-config files donated here worked to fix my problem. I actually couldnt even get 2 of them to boot. Not sure if thats because i have a 5774 cb or if its something with the 16202 dash but they wouldnt boot. Martin C config.bin did help extend the amount of time it took to freeze but still not good. I give up on rgh 2 because of the sounds of the team is close to releasing a new and more stable hack.
