Possible backup on non-DL DVDR media?

Is it possible to backup for those games that are smaller than 4.7gb? Can anyone confirm this?

if your going to be using a xbox 360 then you will need dual layer +R media. also make sure you buy a qualitly media such as verbatim brand.

Single layer support was attempted in Xtreme firmware but not fully supported and it doesnt function properly. It was completely removed when iXtreme came out.

SO, no, you can't use SL media.
