hey guys.bit of a dilemma.purchased a few CR4 XL chips.installed one to a falcon.and it would not boot xell no matter what settings.i wired it up Rjtag+.would not boot.then wired it up for RGH 2+,and still would not boot xell.re-wrote stock nand and booted fine.i ended up spending around 7 hours trying everything i could,followed the guides to a T.every possible setting,used magic falcon ecc.changed power in smc config,basically there was not much else i could try.so i decided to just try one of the other chips i had.I set it up exactly the same as previous cr4 same settings etc,and guess what booted instantly.tried the possible faulty cr4 on 2 other consoles jaspers rgh2+and rjtag+ with aud clamp wiring, no boot.swapped for the working cr4 on both consoles booted on both.so my question is what could be wrong with the non working cr4?.it powers up.i get the green debug light flashing etc.i know i can probs send it back for a replacement.but im curious as to what might cause it not to work and glitch the console.please understand i know you guys request pics etc.but its stripped down and cr4 back in its packaging awaiting response from the seller.Also like to add i used the phat install kit qsb's and also without.also tried shielded cable.I have done many installs over the last couple of years,so im not new to this.i have always been successful with them hence no previous posts with jtag troubles.thanks in advance
Possible faulty cr4 xl.

If you know its bad then just contact the seller and exchange it for another one.
