I have modded at least 10 box's the last three being xecuter 3's. So I know what I am doing. To the point. 1.0 xbox flashed x3 bios, ran config live saved epprom to x3 disk (this is the first time formatting with config live) i am used to using my boot disks. Formatted then FTP dash, apps everything went fine. Now the major sh*t. I get a blank screen with chip on, with chip off, and with the damn thing pulled from the box. In other words i cant even get it to run normal again. Get this, the only thing that will display on my screen is when i goto backup Flashbios. I only get my green/amber when disconnecting my av cable. No red led when disconnecting hard drive or dvd drive. It's almost like some how after i FTPed the M$ onboard bios is gone.....i did'nt even think that was possible

I think the only way to flash the TSOP is to physically bridge a connection to it on the motherboard before you flash it. I dont think the X3 has the capability of doing it on its own. I could be wrong but its just what i remember reading about flashing the onboard bios. I have never done it personally.

i dont think you lost your bios , sounds like you messed up you eeprom settings !! if you get no fraging ( red , green ,red , green,) then your bios is probobly right ! defently if you can boot your backup .

I have the same problem, having used config magic ... just a steady green light, but all else is dead .. no dvd eject or screen, but the power led flashes green if i press it, and just keeps flashing !! is this the "coma" that i've read about ?
I too have an X3, although it doesn't seem to matter what the dip switches are, i can't seem to find a bios that it will boot from

I cannot get to my X3 config live considering it wont display when chip is on, therfor i am assuming it is not running. How could it be a epprom issue if I cant even get an error screen when HDD is unplugged? or a splash screen for that matter. I cant get anything running with chip pulled and stock hdd in is what is really worrying me. Trouble is i just got back from work and have to goto another job so i wont be able to trouble shoot till later tonight. Does X3 have its own eeprom for the chip itsself?
