Hello,

Excuse me if this is a stupid question but the only results I could find about the latest dashboard (16767) is how to update to it. So my question is, is it possible to R-JTAG this Jasper console? After researching I get conflicting answers, some sites it say it is possible but others say it isn't, and sometime they say only RGH 2 is possible. Also it is quite hard to find updated resources, everything is so old, so I don't know if it still works that way.

If it is possible is the only hardware I need the JR Programmer? I do know how to solder and have a soldering iron.

Thank you for reading :)
Kind regards,

yes you can rgh/rjtag any dash ,dont matter.
you need jr programmer or nand x to read/write nand and a cr4 ofc for rjtag.
some consoles can be picky, but no fear,if rjtag+ dont work well for you, with cr4 you still have the rgh2+ to try :) feckin awesome chip man!

Alright thanks for the fast reply, so I need both devices? The JR Programmer and the CR4? Where the JR Programmer is the actual programmer and the CR4 is the actual 'loader/glitcher'?

Edit: ah after some more research found the install guide, sorry wasn't aware of CR4 before you mentioned it.

So I need:
- CR4 XL
- QSB Install kit for Phat
- JR Programmer

Is this correct?

What would be better/faster and more stable RGH2+ or R-JTAG+? And what would be the difference?

Rjtag is generally faster, but like nofelonies said rjtag can be picky on some systems so rgh2+ is there as a second option. The Jrp, cr4 and qsbs come as an all in one kit for value for money. Good times.

Okay I believe the dutch reseller doesn't have whole in one kits (consolepro.nl) so I'll buy them one by one. Thanks for the replies I guess thats all I need to know to get started :)
