Possibly flashed bad bios

i recently installed an x2.6 on my xbox 1.3. after i flashed the bios, my xbox turned off like it should. when i turned it back on it went back to the M$ dash, when i tried to install EvoX onto it, it said that it cant read the disc, it might be dirty or damaged. i have tried cd-r's, cd-rw's and dvd+r's. however i can still play burnt games on it so i cant believe its the media that im using. im beginning to think that i either made a bad bios disc or used the incorrect bios. i used the bios from EvoX. any help would be greatly appreciated right now.

I presume you burned the ISO file and did not just add the ISO to the disk?

What Bios did you load on to the chip?

Why not dload Slayers, Deluxe Auto or Xdisk to install your Dash?

well i gave it a shot with the Slayer, i tried on both a cd-rw and a dvd+r which my burnt games are on, still no luck, it continues to give me the same error message that it cant read the disc because its either dirty or damaged. the iso files were burned correctly.

i used Verbatim CD-RW - Data Life Plus and Quix for iso.
